The Last Two Ayats of Surah Baqarah: A Shield for Believers

 The sacred book of Islam, the Quran, is replete with passages that provide believers courage, consolation, and direction. The final two Ayat (verses) of Surah Baqarah are particularly significant among them. Muslims all around the world recite them because of their profound significance and purported advantages. The emphasis of the opening verse (2:285) is total faith. It tells of the believers' unwavering faith and the Prophet's (ﷺ) unwavering belief in what was revealed to him. They do not distinguish between Allah (God), His angels, His scriptures, and all of His messengers; they firmly believe in them all.
